Church Of Life Inc. Programs

At Church of Life Inc., we are committed to serving our community by offering valuable programs designed to meet your needs. Below, you can explore the various programs we provide. As we grow, we welcome any suggestions for new programs that could further benefit our community.

Pantry Program

We are in the process of setting up a pantry at our church. We will be accepting food and household products. We will collect these items throughout the month and distribute all collected items on the last Saturday of each month from 8 AM to noon. We will post the address once the program has started. If you would like to volunteer to help with this program, donate items, or sponsor the initiative, please click the Donate button. Thank you for your support!

Farm Program

The farm program encompasses many important factors. We are currently assessing its status and envisioning its future growth. For this reason, we have dedicated an entire page to this program. If you click the "More" button, it will direct you to that page, where you can explore a comprehensive blog documenting the evolution of the program. The core objective of this initiative is to enhance the quality of food provided through the Pantry Program. Let’s be honest: food prices are skyrocketing. A steak costs around $15, and with a minimum of six people dining at my table each night, that amounts to $90 just for the meat of one meal. This totals $630 per week for groceries, based on one meal a day. This highlights the significance of both the Pantry Program and the Farm Program to our community. We urge everyone to support these programs and help provide food for our neighbors who work hard but still struggle to afford rising food costs.

Outreach Program

Our outreach program is similar to Habitat for Humanity; we actively engage with our community to assist neighbors with maintenance and repairs on their homes. As a licensed contractor, I have access to a variety of equipment that allows us to handle many tasks, such as replacing roofs damaged by severe weather, repairing rotted decks, fixing windows, doors, and painting. However, this program is not limited to home repairs and maintenance. We can also assist with tasks like replacing brakes on vehicles or providing new tires. Our volunteers help complete these projects for families in need, including other tasks such as addressing legal issues they may face, clothing, etc. If you would like to support our program or volunteer, please click the donate button to sign up.

Scholarship Program

As we reflect on our first year, we set a goal of raising $25,000 to provide five students with $5,000 each for their tuition. This scholarship was open to everyone, with the only requirement being that applicants could not have any other scholarships. Unfortunately, we faced two major challenges: first, we were unable to raise any funds to meet our goal, and second, we did not receive any applications. While this meant we couldn't award scholarships, it also spared us the difficulty of turning applicants away due to lack of funding. As we approach the next year, we are determined to find a better solution to help five students achieve their dreams of attending college. We welcome any advice, support, or donations for this program. If you have information or resources that could assist us, please reach out. Additionally, there are many ways to contribute beyond cash donations. Thank you for considering supporting a brighter future for students in need. Please click the donation button to help our cause.
